Fear Free care is about compassion, making vet visits less stressful and more positive for pets and their people. Dr. Perry is Fear Free Certified, meaning she’s trained to recognize and reduce stress, anxiety and fear before, during and after every appointment.
You’ll notice the difference right away: soft voices, gentle handling, lots of treats, and respect for your pet’s comfort. We may use pheromone sprays, calming music, or mild pre-visit medications when needed to help your pet feel relaxed and safe. Think of it as more belly rubs, fewer belly aches.

Our mission is simple: to make veterinary care more convenient, more personal and a whole lot less stressful for both you and your furry companions.
By bringing the care to your home, we remove the hurdles that often make vet visits difficult. Your pet gets the same high-quality care they would in a clinic, while being able to stay calm, safe and relaxed in their own space.
Here’s why in-home care can make all the difference:
No waiting rooms, no stress, just personalized care in your pet’s familiar space.
If your cat hides the moment the carrier comes out or yowls the entire car ride, we can examine them at home right in their favorite cozy spot.
If your dog drools, barks or gets carsick, we’ll meet them on their couch — no car ride needed and no missed naps.
If your companion struggles with mobility or doesn’t like leaving the house, we are happy to come to where they’re most comfortable and secure, at home.
If you’re juggling work, kids or multiple pets, we’ll help coordinate visits at times that fit your schedule. As a parent, Dr. Perry knows how busy life gets. And yes, we love when little helpers join in!
If getting out of the house is difficult, we bring everything your pet needs right to you.
Home visits are also ideal for young, senior or immune-sensitive pets who do best avoiding hospital exposure.
If your pet isn’t feeling well, we’ll make their care as easy and gentle as possible, starting treatment at home and guiding you through any next steps.
If you don’t have transportation, we’ll bring veterinary care to you. And if your pet ever needs hospital services, we’ll help coordinate and support you every step of the way.

Home visits for dogs are peaceful and a lot of fun! Here’s how to get ready:
Make sure your dog is a bit hungry before the appointment. If it’s a morning visit, skip breakfast. For afternoon visits, hold off on treats and lunch after 11 am. A little appetite helps your pup focus on the fun stuff (like treats!).
A short walk beforehand can help them burn off extra energy so they’re more relaxed when we arrive. Have their collar or harness on. We’ll use it gently if light restraint is needed.
If your dog has a favorite snack, please have it nearby. We’re always ready to trade good behavior for good treats!

Home visits for cats are often calmer and easier, a win for everyone! To help things go smoothly:
Make sure your cat is a little hungry before the visit. If we’re coming in the morning, skip breakfast. If it’s in the afternoon, hold off on treats and lunch after 11 am. Hunger makes treats more exciting and helps your cat stay engaged.
Try to keep your cat in a secure, comfortable space before we arrive. Close doors or block off hiding spots so they can’t disappear under the bed. We can examine your cat wherever they’re most at ease, be it the bed, sofa or bathroom floor. No carrier needed!
If your cat has a favorite treat, keep it handy in case they’re feeling picky about what we bring.

Perry Paws Mobile doesn’t currently perform surgeries, dental procedures or imaging onsite (like X-rays or ultrasounds). If your pet needs advanced care, Dr. Perry partners with Union Veterinary Clinic to ensure seamless scheduling and continuity, often providing those services herself at their facility.
If you’d prefer a different clinic, that’s no problem! We’ll help coordinate with your chosen hospital and make sure all records and details are handled smoothly so your furry companion gets the care they need without stress.
-
While Perry Paws Mobile isn’t an emergency practice, we do handle many urgent care needs such as vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, allergies or skin infections.
If your pet is experiencing an emergency, we’ll help you determine whether it’s best to be seen at home or go directly to a trusted emergency hospital. You can always message us for guidance, we’ll help you make the right call quickly and calmly.
-
Perry Paws Mobile operates Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends, overnight and most federal holidays. This allows our team to recharge so we can offer the high-quality, attentive care your pets deserve.
-
Our team is intentionally small so you always know who you’re talking to. Most of the time, you’ll hear directly from Dr. Perry or our wonderful practice manager, Tara. We believe in keeping things personal, no call centers, no confusion, just familiar faces who know you and your pets.
-
An initial consultation to establish care with Dr. Perry is $200, which includes a full physical exam and a personalized discussion about your pet’s health. Once you’re an established client, follow-up visits are $175. Depending on your location, a travel fee may apply.
Because our visits are longer and more personalized than traditional hospital appointments, our exam fees reflect the time and attention we dedicate to each family. All other products and services are priced in line with local averages.
If you’d like an estimate or details about specific services, we’re always happy to provide that information — just reach out!
