Dr. Dasha Perry

Hi, I’m Dr. Dasha Perry—founder of Perry Paws Mobile Veterinary Practice and a lifelong animal lover. I grew up just outside of Washington, DC in Bethesda, Maryland, and have always felt a deep connection to animals and the people who love them.

I studied human development—through the lens of psychology, sociology, and anthropology—at the University of Chicago. After college, I realized I wanted to work with animals, which led me to pursue veterinary medicine. I graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2016.

I spent several years practicing in Boston before moving back to DC with my family. Over the years, I’ve seen just how powerful the human-animal bond can be—and how meaningful a veterinarian’s role is in supporting it. I started Perry Paws Mobile Vet to provide personalized, stress-free care in the comfort of your home and to build strong, lasting relationships with my clients and their beloved pets.

I’m Fear Free Certified and believe that every pet deserves to be treated with compassion, patience, and kindness—just like I would treat my own. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming experience for both pets and their people, and to foster a sense of community around care.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, reading thrillers, and exploring the amazing DC restaurant scene.
