Behavior Consultations
Understanding their behavior. Supporting your bond.
Behavior concerns can be stressful for everyone in the home. We take the time to listen, understand what you’re seeing, and help you find a practical path forward.

A thoughtful look at the whole pet
Your pet’s behavior is part of their well-being. An at-home consultation lets us discuss their routine and environment, explore possible health contributors, and make recommendations that fit your household.
How we can help
Personalized evaluation of behavioral concerns
Guidance for anxiety and fear-related challenges
Discussion of aggression and household safety concerns
Evaluation of inappropriate elimination concerns
Referrals to trusted behaviorists and trainers when appropriate
What to expect
Before the visit, share a description of the behavior, when it happens, and any history of snapping or biting. Helpful videos can be useful if they can be recorded safely, without provoking the behavior.
Your questions, answered
Can a medical issue affect behavior?
A change in behavior can sometimes have a medical component. We will discuss your observations and whether an examination or testing is appropriate.
Do you work with trainers or behaviorists?
We can refer you to trusted trainers and veterinary behaviorists when your pet would benefit from additional support.
Will one visit solve the problem?
Behavior change often takes time and frequent follow up. The consultation helps establish a plan and identify the support your pet and family may need.
